The M86 SMB Security Suite includes full versions of the following solutions:

• M86 WebMarshal - provides precise policy control over Web 2.0 and social media to maintain productivity, enforce AUPs and prevent data loss.
• M86 MailMarshal Secure Email Gateway (formerly M86 MailMarshal SMTP) - provides total visibility into all email content, including within attachments, so businesses can enforce policies and protect data.
• Marshal Reporting Console - offers advanced, centralized reporting for security and compliance in a variety of output formats, including PDF and HTML
• M86 Filter List - provides maximum productivity and content control with a URL database of 100+ categories.
• Anti-malware - protects against viruses, Trojans, worms and spyware.

Optional Add-Ons:

• M86 Blended Threat Module - protects from advanced threats that originate through email and spread via the Web
• Image Analyzer - scans, identifies and classifies inappropriate and/or illegal images entering a company via email

Deployment:

M86 WebMarshal Secure Web Gateway

M86 WebMarshal acts as a Secure Web Gateway and is typically deployed between a network firewall and the trusted internal network. From here, M86 WebMarshal can analyze Web requests and control what content is downloaded or uploaded to the Web as well as caching content for efficiency.

M86 WebMarshal deployment options:

• As a standalone proxy server
• Chained to another proxy on a physically separated server
• Chained to another proxy located on the same server
• In an array with multiple, distributed M86 WebMarshal content processing nodes reporting to, and managed by a centralized administration console
• Installed as an ISAPI Filter integrated into Microsoft ISA Server

MailMarshal Secure Email Gateway (SEG)

MailMarshal SEG is designed to be deployed as the first receiving email gateway in an organization. It is typically deployed in the DMZ between the network firewall and the trusted internal network. In typical deployments, M86 MailMarshal acts as the email gateway.

M86 MailMarshal SEG deployment options:

• M86 MailMarshal SEG can be deployed in a standalone configuration with database logging and the administration console located within the trusted environment.
• M86 MailMarshal is also specifically designed to support multiple distributed mail processing servers configured in an array. The array is managed centrally by the MailMarshal Array Manager which can control and manage multiple nodes. Administration can be performed locally or remotely via the M86 MailMarshal Web Console.
